Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a maverick politician, has promised to transform Ghana’s economic fortunes if given the political will to lead as President of Ghana in the 2024 elections.
The seasoned lawmaker said he will use his experience as a business tycoon to position the nation as a business hub while speaking to thousands of Ghanaians from all walks of life at the facilities of Divine Word International Ministries in Virginia, where Bishop Adonteng Boateng serves as the Head Pastor.
According to the Assin Central MP, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, Ghana would be a business destination under his leadership because he will prioritize industrialization.
He said that his plans for creating jobs would center on a big industrial push and tourism, adding that he had ideas for developing globally competitive businesses and attracting commercial farming like it is in Tanzania, Cote D’Ivoire, and other developed nations.
He claimed that Ghana has abundant natural resources that will be utilized to improve the nation’s economic situation.
According to Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, a business tycoon who has employed over 7000 people worldwide, he will leverage his business savvy to aid in the achievement of the nation’s development goals.
The MP added that he has plans to support large-scale mechanized agriculture with generous and alluring incentives in order to lure young people to it and help the nation increase its exports while reducing its imports, which will spur economic growth and the creation of jobs.
By promoting himself as a disciplined leader, he assured Ghanaians, particularly the youth, that he would inculcate discipline, integrity, hard work, and accountability in them to motivate them to effectively contribute to national progress.
