The Tema Development Company (TDC) LTD in collaboration with Ghana National Fire Service and the Ghana Ambulance Service has organized a Simulation exercise for its staff.
The exercise which was part of a planned routine fire drills sought to test the emergency preparedness of the organization and the response of the staff to warning alarm systems in order to save lives and property was largely successful.
The Officers led by DOIII Samuel Fiifi Oppong communicated their findings which among others include disregard or slow response to the emergency alarm and failure to converge at the assembly point after evacuation to the Management of the Company who in turn promised to work with the GNFS to correct all anomalies.
The Officers also took the opportunity to educate the staff on good fire safety practices before, during and after the yuletide.
