Denmark went to the polls on November 1, 2022 and today, a newly formed Government was presented in front of Amalienborg Palace, which is the residence of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.
The Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, who visited Ghana in November 2021 has been re-elected.
She will lead a new coalition government consisting of parties across the political centre.
The new Government consists of the Social Democrats, the Liberals, and the Moderates. The three parties together constitute a majority government.
The new Government has expressed that it will have a special focus on Africa.
