At the Ashanti Regional TESCON Conference earlier today, Energy minister Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh reminded TESCON executives and members of the sacred responsibility they have as the intellectual wing of our party in the NPP’s quest at winning a 3rd term bid in order to transform our country.
This, he said, will be in furtherance of what their predecessors did in years 2000, 2004, 2016 and 2020, helping deliver electoral victories for the party.
The minister charged TESCON to be proud of the achievements of the NPP administration and not to allow the NDC set themes of despair for them.
He also called for unity of purpose in the work they do on their various campuses, as in-fighting, animosity and acrimony will be counter-productive to the NPP project.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh told the students that, my foremost conviction is that the New Patriotic Party remains the only party that has the blue-print for the progress and prosperity of our country and therefore they should be proud to be part of it, making it attractive to their colleagues on campus.
He stated “As the government of President Akufo-Addo works assiduously to get our economy back on track to bring the needed relief to Ghanaians, I am optimistic that the hard work that we will do and with the support of TESCON, we shall make history together in the democratic annals of this republic”.
