The Ministry of Parliament affairs held a dialogue interactive session with the Core Leadership and some functionaries of parliament on 20th December, 2022 at Speaker’s Lounge, Parliament House under the theme: Parliament and the Harnessing of Democratic dividend: An Assessment.
The objectives of the interactive session were to: Stimulate discussions on Ghana’s democratic dividend, Examine the extent to which Parliament of Ghana has ensured the responsibility of government to the needs and concerns of citizens and to Propose measures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of parliament in the discharge of its core responsibilities.
The Hon. Osei Kyei- Mensah -Bonsu, Minister for Ministry of Parliamentary Affiars, MP, Suame pointed out that its time the country has a long-term development plan to ensure proper management.
The minister urged Ghanaians to help improve and build the country together.
