Many turned up for the maiden edition of Hi-Spid Walk event initiated by Joy Daddy Multimedia in partnership with Y&K Limited at Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital.
The event which started early Saturday morning, saw a lot of many people joining the exercise as they marched through the principal streets of Koforidua.
It drew people from all sectors including the teachers, students, church groups, cooperate bodies, bankers, journalists as well as individuals.
Member of the Organisers, Okley Kofi Solomon (DJ Jah Solo), explained the maiden edition of the Hi-Spid Walk was to offer a great opportunity to workers who could not engage in such fitness throughout the year due to their busy schedule.
Speaking to Akosua Asabea Kropah on Bryt fm news assured the public such an initiative would be an annual event to ensure people that the health needs of the people and their listeners.
He however, urged the people of Koforidua and its environs to take advantage of the event and also advised the public to be conscious as far as their health needs are concerned.
Joy Daddy Multimedia, operators of Bryt FM, Dadi FM, Sweet FM, Aben FM, Lord FM, Winners FM, Jaydee FM, Bryt Tv and Mybrytnewsroom.com over the past years have held street carnival with Y&K every 24th December to provide entertainment to the people within the region and even beyond.
