Report emanating from the Eastern region indicate there was a robbery attack on the Koforidua-Suhum road on Friday night.
According to an eyewitness, the alleged armed robbers shot into the speeding Toyota Van passenger car when the driver failed to comply to their earlier order to park just few meters to where they (robbers) were standing few meters from Akote.
The driver was said to have defied the order and sped off leaving the angry alleged robbers no other option to shoot into the speeding vehicle.
The eyewitness revealed that one passenger was hit with by one of the stray bullets from the robbers and was later sent to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the police is yet to comment on the matter at the time of filing the story.
