The Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Officer for the National Service Scheme (NSS), Mr.Samuel Kwagyiri popularly known as ‘Sir PKK’ has called on institutions hosting national service personnel to use the opportunities presented by the Christmas season to express appreciation for the work and contributions of the personnel to the development of their organisations and the municipality as a whole.
In a seasonal greeting and goodwill message, he expressed gratitude to service personnel for their sacrifices, dedication, and contribution to government’s agenda of improving the livelihood of Ghanaians.
According to him, the National Service Scheme remains one of the best ways for preparing the nation’s youth to make the transition to the world of work and adulthood, through a system that allows for learning about, and dealing with, real-world challenges.
He further urged all national service personnel to also use the opportunity of the coming New Year to rededicate themselves to the course of the nation’s democratic aspirations and socio-economic transformation.
He therefore, wished all national service personnel a very merry Christmas, prosperous New Year and God’s blessings in their continued service to the nation.
