Assembly member of Kumawu Dadease in the Sekyere Kumawu district of Ashanti region Hon Kofi Adade has stated that, the welfare of the widows in his electoral area is very important to him.
He made this statement when he was donating tubers of yam to widows in his electoral area and explained further that, most of the widows in his electoral area are vulnerable and needed to be cared for.
He also said he reached out to these people through the support of some individuals and cooperate institutions.
He again called on Ghanaians to welcome them if they come to them on behalf of the widows for assistance as Assembly members are not paid and only have their strength from individuals.
