Together with the Minister of Employment and Labour Relations, Hon Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi, the Head of Local Government Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur and other dignitaries, the Central Regional minister, Justina Marigold Assan attended the 14th Quadrennial Delegates Congress of Civil and Local Government Service Staff Association of Ghana CLOGSAG) at the University of Cape Coast New Examination Center.
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Marigold Assan underscored the enormous contributions members of CLOGSAG have made towards the development of our country.
Also, she implored them to continuously support the government as the technical arm who gives policy options and spearhead the implementation of public policies.
She welcomed the delegates to central regional capital and wished them a successful congress.
Later in the day, the minister presented 40 pieces of streetlights to OLA College of Education, her alma mater to improve security and enhance academic activities on campus.
