As part of measures to improve Fire Safety Education delivery by the Personnel of the Effutu Command, a capacity building session was organized by the Municipal Fire Commander, DO II Kwesi Hughes to equip his Personnel with contemporary fire safety knowledge to better educate residents and respond appropriately and convincingly to queries during the spread of the gospel of fire safety message.
DO II Kwesi Hughes intimated that the Winneba Municipality is fast urbanizing and attracting a lot of Institutions, Industries, Tourists to the area and as well as fire related activities with increasing risk of fire outbreaks.
Hence, his urgent quest to bring his Personnel up to speed with the issues and prepare them ahead of time to meet the ever growing needs of fire cover in the area with relevant knowledge.
Personnel were impressed with the new knowledge acquired and appeared very poised to hit the ground running with the gospel of fire safety to save lives, properties and safeguard the environment from the ravages of fire.
