Representatives from Bayer AG and Deutsche Gesellschaft für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has paid a working visit to Dr. Okoe Boye, CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA).
The visit was to have advance talks on the inclusion of prostate care unto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
During the visit, Dr. Okoe Boye reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to venture into Preventive Healthcare and expand the benefit package with recourse to Actuarial analysis.
He charged NHIS – GIZ team to expedite the Road map deliberations on the project.
