The Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr Yaw Barimah, has declared the modifications in the minority leaderships in parliament will not change the party’s victory come 2024 general elections.
Mr Yaw Barimah says that the party’s national executives did deeper consultations before naming the current leadership.
He announced, “It’s about time the minority gets someone who has a financial background to scrutinize the NPP government because of their rotten behaviours. Hon. Ato Forson can handle the position very well. I will urge the supporters from all sides to avoid attacking themselves since we are all one family’’.
He reiterated the changes can, however, boost the spirit of supporters from all the other areas to support the party, believing can fairly help the party win massively in the 2024 elections.
The political figure seized the opportunity to advise the executives and supporters within the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency to avoid any sort of behaviours that can soil the pleasant image of the party, since their aim was to claim power from the NPP.
He stated “I will plead all the executives and their supporters to let calm prevail in the Constituency. They should all understand ourselves to fight for our common goal, which is to claim the seat from the NPP”.
