The President of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, GPCC, Rev. Prof. Frimpong Manso has descended strongly on some Ghanaian Prophets allegedly selling “anointing Oil” claiming to have efficacy to prevent and cure coronavirus.
Speaking on Friday’s edition of Dadi 101.1 FM morning show dubbed “Efa Wo Ho” hosted by Abena Pokua Ahwenepa, Rev.Prof.Frimpong Manso who doubles as the General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Church described such persons as “Criminals and Crooks” who ought to be arrested.
“I respect you very well, the reason I am answering this question. This thing is not a time for us to listen to this nonsense and stupidity. Nobody has a cure for this disease . These guys are crooks and criminal. If I have powers, I would have ordered for their arrest. It is a lie, it is from the devil, it is demonic and satanic and we should not entertain these things”.
Social media is flooded with articles and images of ‘Coronavirus Oil’ reportedly produced by controversial Ghanaian Prophet, Bishop Daniel Obinim, claiming it cures coronavirus disease.
However, Rev.Prof.Frimpong Manso said the claims are false hence should not be entertained.
“We are very serious! We are in wartime. No Prophet has a cure for coronavirus so we should not tolerate and entertain these things. This is a serious matter. It is a life and death matter. Anyone who claims to have cure should go to China to get infected so he cures himself with the oil as evidence.”
