The Partnership Opportunity Delegation (POD) led by U.S. Special Representative for Global Partnerships, Dorothy McAuliffe visited Ghana this week.
The delegation identified collaboration and partnership opportunities between the U.S. private sector and West Africa’s growing climate innovation and entrepreneurship.
The team networked at Impact Hub Accra where they met Ghanaian entrepreneurs working to address climate change.
They also joined Academic City to launch two labs to support innovative ideas by students and promote sustainable development.
Partnership Opportunity Delegations (PODs) are an initiative of the U.S. Department of State that foster deeper collaboration and cooperation between the United States, the private sector and our bilateral friends.
