1. I have instructed my communications team and my public health advisors to support any efforts by the Ghana Health Service and the Ministry of Health in this particular regard.
2. I have also asked all former appointees of my administration who assisted in our readiness efforts during the ebola epidemic to aid the government in whatever way they can if requested to do so.
3. This virus is an enemy to all Ghanaians, and the call to duty in the fight against it rises above partisanship and politics.
4. Government must make PPEs available to health workers and citizens.
5. Government must make available plenty test kits in every region and isolation centres so cases are not referred to Accra for isolation.
6. A comprehensive budget allocation should be presented to parliament for approval.
7. A comprehensive economic policy should be laid to parliament to serve as guideline on how we’re going to handle the economic shutdown across the globe.
