Dr. Clement Apaak, the Member of Parliament for Builsa South constituency in the Upper East Region has handed over delivery kits to the Kasiesa chips compound in Fumbisi to ease delivering challenges in the area.
Dr. Apaak explained that measures have been put in place to help improve and equip some of the health facilities in the community.
The District Health Director, Dr. Freeman Samani, commended Dr. Clement Apaak for providing health equipment for Kasiesa chips compound.
Dr. Freeman Samani also took the opportunity to call on individuals and organizations to collaborate with Dr. Clement Apaak outfit to achieve the needed quality health that the district desired.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Freeman Samani acknowledged the MP for the prompt response and appreciated his kind gesture, adding that more can be done to optimise healthcare in the entire Builsa south district.
The health practitioners stressed that assisting pregnant women to deliver has been challenging adding that the delivery kits come at the right time.
“We will do our best as we have received these kits, especially [with regard to] childbirth,” the health practitioners said.
