The Atwima Nwabiagya south constituency secretary for the opposition National Democratic Congress, Mr Godfred Kpetigo, has taken on the Akufo-Addo’s government for deserting the Abuakwa -Tanoso stretch of roads as well as the Suame interchange.
The outspoken member of the party dares the Akufo-Addo government to complete the roads, if really they think about the progress of the Ashantis as they keep saying.
He said it’s a disgrace to the Npp government to forgo such busy roads which link several regions to the garden city.
“I will dare the Npp government to commence on Suame interchange and finish the Abuakwa-Tanoso road, if indeed they care about the Ashantis. It’s a shame to them for not helping the very people who voted for them to win the elections.”
In addition, he expressed the recalcitrant behaviours of the Npp have led to laying off of a vast number of workers at Central market.
“A lot of people have been laid off at Central market because of the Npp miserable government. You can’t break the eight whilst businesses are collapsing,” he continued.
The astute political figure urged the NDC supporters to remain calm since the party executives are on top of their jobs and will elect a qualified person to lead the party come 2024 general polls.
