Reverend Doctor Kwabena Opuni Frimpong, the Executive Director for Alliance of Christians Advocacy has affirmed that the Catholic Bishops Conference, Presbyterians, Church of Pentecost, Assemblies of God and other churches would come together to ascertain a new date for the Easter celebration after the ban.
Based on the ban by the president on all social gatherings which happened to include the easter celebration, all rules would be adhered to but Easter must definitely be celebrated. He stated.
According to him, Pastors must not over-spiritualize the virus as it is a global challenge for now.
He then urged the pastors and church leaders not to take this as a spiritual matter but rather take Doctors instruction seriously and pray along.
