The aged across the country over the years face many health problems including non-communicable diseases like hypertension and diabetes.
However, Divine Mother and Child (DMAC) Foundation on 7th of March, we provided a Free Health Screening for senior citizens of Ghana (the aged) at Ridge Church in Accra.
Over 30 aged were screened on hypertension and diabetes as Ghana celebrates its 66th independence anniversary.
This forms part of the NGO’s efforts to reduce the incidence of non communicable diseases in Ghana.
DMAC Foundation since its establishment has embarked on many health programs and initiatives to help in providing quality health care to Ghanaians, especially the deprived and the aged.
The Executive Director, Edmund Duodu and his able health team have emphasised on their commitment to the course with support from other partners and corporate bodies.
