Thirty(30) farmers in Kulungungu are benefiting from a training on modernised irrigation farming, farm preservation and marketing skills.
They will also get Fenced Gardens, Improved Seedlings and Fertilizer under the Community Livelihoods Enhancement project with funding from IOM Ghana.
The community will also benefit from water pumping machines as well as mechanized boreholes.
The project aims to provide alternative livelihoods support to build communities resilience and reduce susceptibility of vulnerable populations to radicalization and other border security threats.
This is in collaboration with the Pusiga District Department of Agriculture.
