On behalf of the Sector Minister, Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, deputy minister George Mireku Duker engaged the management of Mensin Gold Bibiani Limited and representatives from Bibiani Old Town and Zongo communities in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai District on matters related to compensation resettlement of the aforementioned communities.
In their petition, Mr Frank Pinto Amartey, presenting on behalf of the communities, outlined their complaints with reasons why the communities need to be resettled.
The Deputy minister directed Technical Officers to further investigate the matter and assured the communities of the commitment of the Ministry to facilitate a comprehensive resolution to the issue at hand.
