Godwin Misiso is a young boy who has been struck by a debilitating illness that has left him bedridden at the young age of 21.
His struggle with kidney problems has turned his life upside down, leaving him in constant pain and discomfort.
It all started on the 24th of December 2022, when he began experiencing discomfort in his body.
His family took him to the Akuse Government hospital, where he was advised to undergo some laboratory tests.
His condition was found to be severe, and he was immediately referred to the Koforidua Regional hospital for further treatment.
Godwin’s condition required him to undergo dialysis every three days, which costs 450 Ghana cedis per session.
The cost of treatment has taken a toll on his family, particularly his mother (not real mother), who has spent close to Four hundred and fifty thousand Ghana cedis over two and a half months.
Despite the costly treatment, Godwin’s condition has continued to deteriorate. His scrotum is swollen, and his body is all swollen.
The pain and discomfort he experiences on a daily basis are unimaginable, and he needs urgent help to get well soon.
Godwin’s mother is a frustrated and heartbroken woman.
She has depleted all her savings in an effort to save her son’s life, and she is now appealing to the general public for help.
