Sixteen(16) Kidnapped victims have been found caged in a room in a Community at Cape Coast Ankaful in the Cape Coast Metropolis of the Central Region.
The Kidnapped victims whose ages are between twelve to twenty were found in a single room at Ankaful Zongo a Community within the Cape Coast Ankaful Community.
They are suspected to have come from neighboring countries such as Burkina Faso,Togo, Nigeria, Mali, Niger.
They are said to have been speaking different languages including French.
These Kidnapped children are suspected to have been kept in the room locked for over one month without eating and drinking according to information gathered.
Speaking to some residents in the community who are living in fear and Panic disclosed that, they saw taxis sometimes ago which these suspected Kidnappers came out from it and they later saw them leading by some unknown person into the house.
They said, since then they did not see them again until they got the hint that they have been kept in a room and locked it up.
Chief of Cape Coast Ankaful Nana Abura Asankoma III hinted that, the situation is alarming after seeing this Kidnappers being caged in a room in his community.
The Chief according to him, are now living in fear and panic since they are afraid something bad may have happened to this sixteen Kidnapped victims.
They are not Ghanaians so they need to be arrested and to do a massive investigation.
Assembly Member for Cape Coast Ankaful Electoral area, Hon. George Anarful in an interview with Bryt Fm News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah, revealed they have reported the case to the Ankaful Police but nothing has been done about it.
The Assembly is accusing the police Service for not doing their work well after several report was made.
According to the Assembly member, he was told this Kidnappers has been signed to play football for some of the football teams in the Country.
They have allegedly been defrauded by their masters and caged them in a room for several weeks without catering for.
They are appealing to the Ghana Police Service and Immigration Service to as a matter of urgency to do a massive investigation to the it.
