Nana Boateng Isaac, a Junior High School graduate from OPASS JHS in Akyem Kukurantumi in Eastern Region placed at New Nsutam Senior High Technical School is still in the house due to parents inability to afford tall list of Items on prospectus of the school.
The items on the prospectus for boarding students will cost almost Ghc2,000.
This has been very challenging for the poor family struggling to buy for their ward therefore staying at home perhaps hoping for a miracle to happen.
Agyemang William Kofi Afari an Assembly member, also a citizen journalist and social media influencer operating in the enclave discovered the heart wrenching situation of the boy.
“This boy from Kukurantumi who completed OPASS JHS and got admission at New Nsutam Senior High Technical School is still at home because his parents couldn’t afford the the items on the prospectus.
His admission is still valid and can go to school anytime”..
He is trying to raise funds to get the boy in school immediately to pursue technical program.
