Communication team member of the National Democratic Congress, Eric Obuaba has expressed worry at the abandon of some road projects within the Abuakwa North municipality.
He disclosed his displeasure in a statement below:
I am deeply concerned about the several attempted road construction project that has been finally left unfinished by this npp government. The uncomplicated road construction project left for months, causing significant disruptions and inconvenience for residents in the area.
It is unacceptable that the government has failed to complete this project in a timely manner. The unfinished construction has caused traffic in business losses, safety hazards, and damaging property in the affected area. The government’s lack of action is a clear indication of it disregard for the welfare of the constituency.
I believe that the government must take immediate action to complete this project and ensure that it is done to the highest standards of quality and safety. I urge all residents to join me in calling on the President, MP and MCE to prioritize the completion of this project and provide clear timelines for its completion.
I also urge residents to hold their elected officials accountable for their actions, or inactions, on this issue. It is unacceptable for the government to neglect such an important project, and i will not rest until it is completed to the satisfaction of the constituency.
The government lead by his excellence Nana Addo must stick to it promises as he pledge the people of Abuakwa north constituency an asphalt road during his campaign tour to the constituency. To my knowledge, Abuakwa north constituency is a sister constituency to Abuakwa south which has been asphalted.
We must together fight for Abuakwa north development devoid of political affiliation.
