The Ashanti Regional Office of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has collaborated with the South Suntreso Police to conduct a swoop on unregistered drug peddlers at Alabar, a hotspot in the Kumasi Metropolis.
The exercise sought to bring offenders into compliance with the Public Health Act, 2012, Act 851.
FDA is committed to ensure safety, quality and efficacy for the general public.
Officers of the FDA are on their market surveillance activities in some parts of the regions.
