The Eastern Regional Legal Team of the opposition National Democratic Congress,NDC, had a training have undergone training ahead of the party’s presidential and parliamentary primaries.
The training was to equip the Legal Team with the requisite skills and competence in dealing with any legal issue at all that may arise during the primaries including appeal, as well as all litigations that may arise during and after the primaries.
The lawyers of the Legal Team who themselves are astute members of the legal profession with many years at the Bar received the training and participated effectively with the necessary discussions.
The National Acting Director of Elections Hon. Daniel Amartey as well as Dr. William Ahadzie of the NDC Party School were the resource persons for the training.

Secretary, Eastern Legal Team experiences were shared, ideas were discussed, scenarios were given as part of the training to ensure that the lawyers left the training fully equipped and battle ready for the task ahead.
The Eastern Region particularly became a hotbed for numerous litigations during the various conferences for which reason this training was necessary to ensure that we could have a quick and expeditious handling of any potential cases to enable the party proceed to prepare adequately for the general elections in December 2024 which is a must win for the NDC party.
Chairman of the Eastern NDC Legal Team Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi, said it was insightful moment with Hon. Daniel Amartey, the National Acting Director of Elections, Hon. Marietta Brew, the former Attorney General of Ghana and Dr. William Ahadzie of the NDC Party School to provide some fine perspectives to the rules of the game.
