Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif has called on the United Nations, to support and invest resources into small-scale businesses owned by the youth as part of efforts to help attain the sustainable development goals.
According to the minister, achieving the sustainable development goals (SDGs) is capital intensive and needs the commitment of resources and investments to make it attainable.
He made these comments when he delivered an address at the 2023 Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
