Officials from the Zonal Office of the Gulf of Guinea Northern Regions Social Cohesion (SOCO) Project Office visited the Upper West Regional minister in his office.
The SOCO Project is aimed at addressing challenges of possible spillover conflicts and extremism in the Sahel Region to lessen vulnerability due to exposure to the impacts of climate change, strengthen local institutions, and improve economic opportunities.
The Wa Zonal Office is in charge of beneficiary districts in the Upper West and Savannah Regions.
The officials were Mr. David Yankey, Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Francis Nartey Ocansey, Zonal Engineer, Mrs. Christine Amadu, Zonal Administrator, Mr. Edward Mensah, Zonal Accountant, and Mr. Moses Jotie, MIS Officer.
