Over 500 estimated population leaving in a Community call Dabilla in the Garu district of the Upper East Region, shares one bore hole water as their only source of water in the community.
According to the residents the situation is a major challenge in the Dabila community, in an exclusively interview with Bryt fm news, the residents said students go to school late because of the availability of only one bore hole water in the community.
Meanwhile, the assembly member for the area Hon Mahama Kassim, said students and workers get to school and work late respectively due to the water challenges.
He is, therefore, calling on the authorities and benevolence to come to their aid, he added that it is the only bore hole that serves the community and the schools in that community.
