Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko star Douglas Nkrumah says he has some more years of active football in him despite branding experienced players as old horses.
Douglas Nkrumah became a household name during his stint with the porcupine warriors before joining sworn rivals Hearts of Oak.
In an interview, he downplayed assertions that he is an over-aged player as he believes he can still play active football.
“I began my career early and became popular but that doesn’t mean I’m old. I will 31 years on November, 28 and I think I can still play actively” he said.
According to him, he sees himself as strong and active to play competitive soccer in the Ghana Premier League and is hoping to feature in the second for a club.
