At the Civil Service Awards, Energy minister Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh had the honour of receiving an ‘Office of the Head of Civil Service’ award”.
It was in recognition of his outstanding leadership and support for reform initiatives in the civil service”.
The minister said it was encouraging that our modest contributions as ‘birds of passage’ in the civil service context is recognised.
He stated “I also want to congratulate warmly, Chief Director at the Ministry of Energy, Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah and Director Legal, Ms. Sarah Fafa Kpodo on their awards. Mrs. Asamoah was named the 6th Best Chief Director whilst Ms. Fafa received an award as Best Director”.
