After several calls by Constituents of New Juaben north of the Eastern region, the NDC Parliamentary candidate, Samuel Adongo, inspected some roads within the constituency on Wednesday June 7, 2023.
The tour was to ascertain the state of the roads and also add his voice to calls for Government’s intervention.
Hon. Samuel Adongo visited Effiduase, Asokore, Oyoko, Suhyen, Asikasu No1 and No.2, Akwadum and Akwadum Mpaem communities.
The NDC PC after the tour sympathised with Constituents and expressed worry at the current poor state of the roads.
During his tour, the NDC PC also realized that contractors on both Akwadum-Mpaem-Suhyen road and the Suhyen-Asikasu road have all abandoned their projects and taken away their machines and materials from their sites respectively.
“Since the constitution encourages us to be citizens and not spectators, I will continue to fight for the ordinary Ghanaian as President Akufo-Addo has indicated since assumption into office in 2017” Mr. Adongo stated.
Hon. Samuel Adongo, however, calls on constituents to change their pattern of voting and consider allowing other people from different parties to also have the opportunity to prove what they can do to support them.
“Change is possible and we must all support the course for the development of New Juaben North” he stated.
Some Constituents who could hid their joy of the NDC PC visit were grateful for following up on their request and pledged to support his candidature.
