National chairman of the Ghana Catholic Youth Organisation (C.Y.O), Senior Crusader Gabriel Maurice Nartey has warned that anyone who shares soft copy of the Organisation’s Handbook and Leaders Guide on Social Media platform will be arrested and face the law.
According to him, copies of the books are available for sale at the Organisation’s office and prices have been subsidized for some years now to enable members to afford it.
In a post on social media,Senior Crusader Gabriel Maurice Nartey said “For God and Ghana, anybody who by mistake has it and get it to you will be in SERIOUS TROUBLE, as this time we are READY to pick up anybody regardless who is involved.”
The books are detailed information about how the Organisation should be done or operated from the Unit to National Level.
Sharing of the handbook and leaders guide on social media platforms has been on rampant for some time now due to technology and some members are failing to purchase the hardcopy.
The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO Ghana) was founded on 22nd August 1948 and is a member of the Catholic umbrella of youth organizations International Federation of Catholic Parochial Youth Movements (FIMCAP).
