Akyem Brenase Basic School in the Birim North District of the Eastern Region has been ripped off by rainstorm.
All six units classroom block have been affected. However, no casualty was recorded because of closure of Schools in Ghana by government as part of measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Few computers available in the school were drenched together with some teaching and learning materials.
School authorities fear that academic work would be greatly affected should schools be reopened next two weeks by government while the school remains in its current devastating condition.
Meanwhile officials from the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the school for assessment.
