A final year science student of Ofori Panin Senior High School (OPASS) in Eastern region has been stabbed to death by unknown assailants in Koforidua
The student only identified as Paa Kwasi was found in a pool of blood with multiple knife wounds near Koforidua Technical University (KTU) Wednesday night.
The victim who stayed with the parents in Koforidua Effiduase was found in a pool of blood by passersby at the roadside battling for his life.
He was rushed to the St. Joseph Hospital but died Thursday dawn.
The victim, preparing to write West Africa Secondary Schools Certificate Examination(WASSCE) next month, was said to be a brilliant student.
The student was also popular for his football skills but his parents wanted him to be a Medical Doctor.
The family has rejected attempt to tag him a thief.
Meanwhile,police has commenced investigation into the incident.
