Black Stars have maintained their position on the latest FIFA rankings, released on Thursday, July 20, 2023.
The West African powerhouse are ranked 59th and 11th in the World and Africa respectively.
This means the Black Stars are still not ranked among the top 10 countries on the African continent.
In Africa, Morocco retains its position as the highest-ranked team at 13th globally, with Senegal following in 18th place. Tunisia, Algeria, and Egypt complete the top five ranked African teams.
Globally, Argentina occupies the first spot followed by France in second place and Brazil in third. England, Belgium, and Croatia round out the top six.
The Black Stars will return to action in September for the final round of the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana will host Central Africa Republic in the final round game.
