Bertha Baidoo, a 24-year old student of Sefwi Wenchi M/A School in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region was part of this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
She is writing her papers at the Sefwi Dominebo Numbers Two M/A Primary School Examination centre.
Information available to Hamza Mohammed indicated that Bertha Baidoo, a mother of 2 children, got pregnant while she was schooling at Aboduabo but couldn’t get any support, so she got pregnant again and gave birth to her second born.
Berthal told Hamza that she was determined to continue her education to the Senior High School level and wished to become a Police or Fire Officer in the future.
Her mother Maame Gladis Serwa narrated how her daughter got vim to continue her education despite after giving brith to two children.
Mr.Eric Kwame Adinkra, the headmaster for Sefwi Wenchi M/A Junior High School, also explained that Bertha came to his school with someone to register and during their conversation she told him that she has two children. He continued that Bertha is a hard-working person and appealed to philanthropy and other stakeholders to assist her in achieving her aim.

Mr.Sharifi Kwaku Duah the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipal Ghana Education Service Public Relations Officer praised Bertha and wished her all the best and urged her to put her best efforts and earn success in the examinations.
