The Eastern Regional Organizer of the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Pastor Kwesi Amoanu has stated that the church is aimed to nurture Ghanaians children with good Christianity for a better future in the world.
According to the Regional organizer, the church and the parents have collective effort to bring up the younger generation for a better future.
Pastor Kwesi Amoanu stated that parents should go beyond communicating their expectations, but practice what they preach by being positive role models for their children to emulate.
Speaking at the Sabbath School Children Week Celebration at Kyebi, Esikam in the Eastern region, Pastor Kwesi Amoanu urged the children to obey Apostle Kwadwo Asafo teachings to enable them to become good citizens.
He urged the children to learn the culture of the country and study their bibles.
The Eastern ‘A’ Regional Secretary for the Kristo Asafo Mission of Ghana, Oheneba Kofi Adjei said that the program was to enlighten the children about church doctrine.
Oheneba Kofi Adjei said that the church mission is to groom the young people to be God fearing children.
He urged the kids to obey the rules of their religion and to live in a way that is considered morally right.
The Vice Chairman for the Eastern Regional Council who doubles as a head pastor for Somaya, Apostles Kwehu Osi said that this year’s celebration was massive as compared to the previous years.
The children also expressed that the program has offered them an opportunity to learn and socialize.
