A 27-year old Dangme man, Sylvester Kweku from Otrokper(near Asesewa) in the Upper Manya Krobo District of the Eastern Region, GHANA has always dreamed of owning a car. So he decided to take matters into his own hands and build one by himself.
The welder, who has no mechanical experience whatsoever, spent 7 months constructing the car from scratch, using parts from a range of different models and scrap metals.
He used ordinary tools including a pole bender and even his bare hands to twist pieces of metal to make the frame of the vehicle.
He is currently Testing the vehicle for its roadworthiness and durability using the road(route) between Otorkporlu and Asesewa in the Upper Manya Krobo District.
Everybody on Kroboland, Dangmeland & Ghana is proud of him. Welldone my Man.
I pray he gets the attention of investors to come in and help him modify and make it better.
