The Seth Gyimah Foundation has launched a scheme to sponsor brilliant needy Ghanaian youth to secure education.
Hon.Seth Gyimah a native of Manso Mim and NPP aspiring parliamentary Candidate for Manso Adubia constituency stressed that, quality education for the children is key to sustainable development and the expected transformation of Ghana.
The Seth Gyimah Foundation which is aimed at promoting the education and overall academic excellence of brilliant but needy students have also decided to organise classes for the children to be able to seek sponsorship to make their dream a reality.
The foundation is geared towards ensuring access to education for all and at the end of the classes, the best children received assorted prizes as motivation to others.
Speaking with Hamza Mohammed, Hon.Seth Gyimah expressed confidence that giving priority to the brilliant but needy children would go a long way in driving progress as a nation and enhancing the skills of students for the future.
He believes that the current plight of Ghana, and for that matter, all of Africa, in all aspects of growth and development can be overcome with the right education for all the youth.
The brains behind the initiative is to provide scholarships to brilliant but needy students who would have been roaming the streets of Manso Adubia and as a corporate social responsibility, hence called on philanthropists and other benevolent bodies to support such progressive initiative.
