The Member of Parliament for New Juaben North Constituency in the Eastern region, Hon. Nana Adjei Boateng has stated that the municipality has received its share of the national cake.
To him, the municipality is experiencing massive developmental projects in all areas.
Hon. Adjei Boateng said that all communities in the municipality have seen some level of development in terms of roads, health facilities, schools and other infrastructural projects.
The lawmaker has commissioned Youth Resource Center, newly constructed storey building for New Juaben North Health Directorate and Astro Turf project by middle belt development in the municipality.
The newly constructed storey building for New Juaben Health North Directorate was 90% funded by the lawmaker to help improve the health services in the area.
He said that the youth resource center will serve as an institution to provide regular assistance for the youth with special needs.
With the Astro Turf project, Hon. Adjei Boateng added that it will be a channel for the youth to develop talents in terms of sporting activities.
Hon. Adjei Boateng disclosed that 12 kilometers of asphaltic road over lane has commenced in the municipality, adding that deplorable roads are going to be fixed for the constituents.
He called on constituencies to have faith in the government.
The Municipal Chief Executive for the Municipality, Hon Comfort Asante on her part said that the government is committed to foster and decentralize development for all constituents in the municipality.
Hon Comfort Asante continued that youth development remains a top priority to the government.
