The National Patron for Ghana Co-operative Distillers And Retailers Association, Nana Akuoko Kwarteng has admonished his colleague palm wine tappers and akpeteshie distillers to ensure their activities and business does not cause bush fired, especially during the dry season.
Nana Akuoko made the statement when speaking to Agyenkwa Fm’s Obofo Michael during their two(2) days celebrations of 36th General Meeting at Kumasi with the theme: Restoring The Fallen Standards of Ghana Co-operative Distillers And Retailers A ssociation , he said, we can not do our business without fire,there is the need for us to be extra careful in our dealings to repel fire disaster.
He said, Akpeteshi(local hard liquor) is not manufacturers with any chemicals so the general public should disregard fake information.
He therefore advised the newly elected executives to work hard to restore the image of their noble association.
In addition the newly elected president, Mr Kwame Obeng assured the general public that, he and other executives will put measures to help to restore Ghana Co-operative Distillers And Retailers Association to help to employ more people to reduce the unemployment rate in the country.
