The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has selected prominent legal luminary, Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi, based in Koforidua, to serve as the party’s Legal Director for the Eastern Region ahead of the crucial December 2024 elections.
With over 22 years of legal experience both within Ghana and internationally, Lawyer Larbi brings a wealth of expertise to his new role.
According to sources, Lawyer Minta Larbi’s appointment signifies a strategic move by the NDC to bolster its legal team and strengthen its position in the Eastern Region.
His distinguished profile, which includes notable achievements and extensive legal practice, has positioned him as a formidable addition to the party’s leadership.
The profile of Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi underscores his exceptional credentials and achievements in the legal field. Graduating with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of Ghana and subsequently obtaining a Barrister at Law (B.L.) from the Ghana School of Law, Lawyer Larbi’s academic foundation is robust. Additionally, his pursuit of further studies culminated in an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from the American University Washington College of Law in Washington DC, USA.
Furthermore, Lawyer Larbi’s professional journey has been marked by significant accomplishments, including representing clients before prestigious international bodies such as the Administrative Tribunal of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. His success in securing judgment for his client against the African Union in 2017 attests to his prowess and effectiveness as a legal advocate.
