Tragedy struck on the Kpong to Tema motorway in the early hours of today, Friday, March 29th, 2024, as a HOWO Tipper truck with registration number GX 8208-21 collided with another faulty HOWO Tipper truck bearing registration GT 7586-19 near Teye Kwame.
The collision resulted in the untimely demise of both the driver and his mate aboard the moving truck.
Emergency services, including fire officers and police personnel, swiftly responded to the scene of the accident.
Following their intervention, the bodies of the deceased extricated and deposited at the mortuary of Akuse Government Hospital.
