The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Eastern Regional Secretariat expressed its gratitude to various supporters for their contributions to a successful fundraising dinner held on April 20, 2024, at Labadi Beach Hotel.

In a letter of appreciation, signed by the Regional Secretariat Jamal Konney acknowledged the presence of key figures such as H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the party’s Flagbearer and incoming president of Ghana, who attended the event.
The letter also thanked H.E. Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, running mate Capt. Rtd. Prince Kofi Amoabeng, and formal Chief Justice Julius Debrah among others for their support.
The NDC recognized the efforts of Members of Parliament, Constituency Executives, Parliamentary candidates, and the business community who helped make the event a success.
Additionally, the party appreciated the anonymous contributors who supported the effort to remove the current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government from power.
“We as well thank the Members of Parliament from the region who sat through the program to make it a success. We thank Constituency Executives and Parliamentary candidates for gracing the program with their full support.
We appreciate the presence and contributions of all businessmen and women who sacrificed their precious time and money for a successful program.We are most grateful to all anonymous contributors who have joined the fight to kick this ineptitude NPP government out from power”.the statement said
The Eastern Regional Executives promised to use the donations effectively in their campaign efforts leading up to the December 2024 elections and expressed confidence in their ability to achieve victory.
