The Ghana TVET Service, in collaboration with Commission for TVET and De Lorenzo SPA, organised a 5-day training and capacity building program for nine (9) Instructors at the Anyinam Applied Technology Institute to enhance utilisation of their respective departmental workshops (Food Processing Unit, Electrical Engineering Unit, Fashion Designing Unit, Wood Construction and ICT)
The Regional Director and her entourage, lead facilitator at the food processing session, Messrs Nereayo Fesshaye from De Lorezo SPA took the visiting team through the various stages of processing mango juice. He noted that the government has done remarkably well for furnishing the facility with ultramodern and multipurpose equipment.
At the Electrical Engineering session, Facilitator for the training Messrs Mohammed Salawu disclosed how progressive the trainees appreciate the process and admonished them to fully utilize the facility at the benefit of learners, the institute and Region.
The Eastern Regional Director for TVET Service, Madam Evelyn Dansoa Boateng, congratulated the Instructors and advised Management of the Institute to strategically utilise these production centers to build capacities of learners and as well boost the IGF of Anyinam Applied Technology Institute.
Principal for the Institute, Maame Yaa Amofa Rockson, thanked the Regional Director and the team, and assured that the center will make big strides in productivity as well as skill development.
In the company of the Regional Director were Alhaji Seidu Ibrahim (Deputy Regional Director), Mr. David Karikari Frimpong (Regional Head of Apprenticeship) and Mr. Albert Anderson (Regional Head of Corporate Affairs).
