The programmes manager of Ghana Anti-corruption Coalition, Mr. Harrison Samuel has said that fighting corruption must start from the leadership of the country.
He indicated “If we start prosecution from the president, minister, and CEO to the lowest position it will automatically reduce corruption in our country as Singapore has done years ago.
Speaking to De Beat FM News, Mr. Harrison Samuel added that government agencies can do better in terms of corruption fight if the opportunity is given.
“In developed countries they have a national plan Unfortunately we are governed by manifestos rather than the national plan. Is like both parties do not allow the technical men to work. One of our biggest problems in Ghana is we have politicized every single institution in the country to the extent that what every politician will say is right” he added.
