The Bryan Acheampong for Running Mate (BA 4 RM) Advocacy group announced its support for Dr. Bryan Acheampong as the potential running mate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the upcoming Presidential election.
The group issued a press statement highlighting its belief that the Minister of Food and Agriculture also Member of Parliament for Abetifi Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s selection would align with Dr. Bawumia’s vision for progress and the future of Ghana.
“At this critical juncture in Ghana’s journey, it is essential to select a running mate who aligns with Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to progress,” the statement read.
The advocacy group emphasized the importance of choosing a running mate who prioritizes the collective interests of the Ghanaian people and resonates with both party loyalists and floating voters across the political spectrum.
“Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s proven impact and credentials make him the perfect choice to complement Dr. Bawumia,” the group stated.
Nana Yaw Osene, also known as Okyeman Mayor and the convener of the BA 4 RM group, expressed optimism for the future.
“We hope for a selection process that is free from internal opposition. Together, Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Bryan Acheampong will lead the NPP to break the 8-year cycle and guide Ghana into a new era of prosperity and progress.”
Daniel O. Acquah, Director of Operations, and Prince Agyemang, Communication Director, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the group’s strong belief in Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s qualifications and commitment.
The group urged the NPP to embrace collective decision-making in the selection process, citing the importance of unity within the party and a focus on Ghana’s overall progress.
As the selection process continues, the BA 4 RM Advocacy group says it will closely monitor developments and continue to support Dr. Acheampong as the running mate.
